You may recognize her from the dance crew WE ARE HEROES, the season 4 winners of America’s Best Dance Crew and the 1st all female dance crew to win the competition. Nichelle returned to ABDC the following season (5) making a special appearance as a guest judge for the West Coast Regional’s. Along with the other ladies, they blew the roof off in an outstanding performance at the ABDC Season 6 Finale.

Her crew, We Are Heroes, have made cameo appearances in multiple music videos including “Not the only one” by Skyline, “Get It” by R&B singer Omarion, and “Eenie Meenie” by Justin Bieber and Sean Kingston. They also performed their “VMA challenge” on the Ellen Degeneres Show and were guest performers on the Oprah Winfrey Show, and made another appearance on the Ellen Degeneres Show. That’s HUGE! And that’s not all… We Are Heroes also performed to a medley of Rihanna songs on the “It’s On With Alexa Chung” Show. Then, they returned to ABDC on Thursday April 15th, 2010 for a “Champions Charity” that included all the winners from season 1-5.

Nichelle Thrower hails from the fabulous city by the bay, San Francisco. There she competed in gymnastics for 5 years and was an All-Star Cheerleader for 4 years. She actually began her hip hop training at the age of 18, inspired by Aaliyah’s video “Are you that somebody?” Nichelle went on to choreograph and dance for R&B singer Shontell in her music video “Perfect Nightmare.” Nichelle is also the principle for Michael Jackson’s older brother, Jermaine Jackson. Most recently, Nichelle appeared on stage with Usher for the 2010 American Music Awards.
